Classes
There are a wide variety to choose from. Some are scheduled and you will need to contact me for prices and to sign up. Some I do not have scheduled at this time. However, I love to teach classes and am willing to schedule them for you. Just contact me via phone, text, or email. I can usually take from one to ten people.
Other classes available are fabric dyeing, Shibori dyeing, dyeing with indigo. I am always learning myself and coming up with new classes. To see what’s new visit this page again or contact me via phone, text or email.
Beginning Watercolor
Learn basic watercolor techniques to create your own fabulous watercolor paintings.
Ongoing Classes every Tuesday (except the Tuesdays after first Fridays) From 10am to noon, in my studio.
Eco Printing
Eco printing is a method to print from vegetation onto fabric or paper. Using leaves and flowers, beautiful designs are printed.
Next class will be on Thursday, July 11,2024 and from 10am to noon.
Painting a Bird
In this class, students will paint along with Marilyn to create a wonderful bird watercolor.
Next class will be Monday, June 24, 2024, from 10am to noon.
Sun Dyeing a Silk Scarf
Each student will use flowers and leaves as resists to sun dye their own silk scarf.

Painting a Silk Scarf
Each student will create their own design to paint on their silk scarf using silk dyes.

Bookbinding a Sketch Book
Using one of many bookbinding techniques, students will put together their own sketch book with personalized cover.

New Beginner Watercolor Classes
A series of five beginner watercolor classes will start on December 6th,2025. Taking place at the new arts space in Sequim called Three Little Birds Darte. For pricing and to register go to the Three Little Birds website.
